What should I do to prepare my home for cleaning?
Before our cleaning technicians arrive, we kindly request that you take a few minutes to “pick up” the night before the scheduled service. This includes clearing the floors, countertops, table tops, and removing dirty dishes from kitchen sinks. If you would like our team to handle these tasks for you, please inform us in advance, and we will adjust your cleaning fee accordingly.
Will I be provided with an estimated arrival window for the cleaning technicians?
Yes, when you book our service, we will provide you with an estimated arrival window for our cleaning technicians. If we happen to be running late, we will contact you via phone call or text message. If you cannot be home during the cleaning, you can leave us instructions, and we will take care of it.
To ensure the comfort of our cleaning technicians, we kindly request that you set your AC to 76 degrees Fahrenheit before our arrival. We are happy to readjust the temperature per your written instructions when we leave.
How effective is your dusting process?
Our cleaning technicians take pride in their dusting skills, and our tools and techniques allow us to remove most of the dust from your home efficiently. However, please note that during the dusting process, some dust may become airborne and may not settle until after we have left. This is especially common during first-time cleanings, and it may take several visits before settling dust becomes minimized.
How do you handle dusting small items and items at different heights?
For small items like knick-knacks, collectibles, and stand-up picture frames, we dust them based on the number and size of items on a shelf or flat surface. If there are 10 or fewer small items on a shelf, we will hand dust them and the surface below, returning the items to their original positions. If there are more than 10 items per shelf, we may dust the items in place along with the surface around them. Please note that we are unable to dust items on shelves or hung on walls that are higher than what our cleaning technicians can reach while standing on a 2-step stepladder. While we use extension poles for high dusting in rooms, we will not be able to high dust items that may tip over or hang on the wall since we can’t hold them with one hand while dusting.
How is the cleaning time determined?
We charge per job rather than per hour. While our technicians are trained to clean efficiently, the cost depends on the number of workers in the house rather than the time taken. If you decide to reduce the amount of work initially agreed upon, we will still charge the full amount unless discussed in advance.
Do you provide cleaning supplies?
Our cleaning technicians do not provide the cleaning products needed for a thorough cleaning. We recommend that you purchase your preferred cleaning products and keep them at your home. However, we bring our own tools, such as vacuums and other necessary equipment. Please note that we are unable to clean homes that have fumes from recent paint, varnish, sealants, solvents, or similar substances.
How do you handle pets during the cleaning?
We work around pets on a daily basis and love them! However, if you have any special concerns or requirements related to your pets that go beyond our cleaning duties, we cannot be held responsible for any damages or liability resulting from their actions. We recommend boarding your pets for the day of the cleaning if they have any special requirements. Additionally, our cleaning technicians cannot touch or pick up pet feces.
Can I reschedule my cleaning appointment?
Yes, you can reschedule your cleaning appointment; however, there are certain considerations and fees involved. Cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled cleaning must be paid at half the price to compensate our cleaners for their time. For cancellations within 72 to 24 hours, we will make every effort to reschedule within the same week. If rescheduling is not possible within the same week, an additional fee may apply. Please note that rescheduled cleanings will be adjusted to the correct day on the schedule to avoid disrupting future cleanings.
What happens if I need to cancel or reduce the services requested on a recurring cleaning?
If you need to cancel or reduce the services requested for recurring cleanings, we require at least 72 hours’ notice. Failure to provide sufficient notice will result in a charge for the full amount of the cleaning. We kindly ask for your understanding in this matter.
How should I make the payment for the cleaning service?
Payment for our services is due in full upon completion of the work or within 24 hours after our cleaning. We accept various forms of payment, including cash, check, bank transfer, or Venmo.
What happens if I need to reschedule, cancel, or make changes to the cleaning appointment on short notice?
If you need to reschedule, cancel, or make changes to the cleaning appointment on short notice (less than 72 hours), a fee may apply. All rescheduling, cancellations, or changes must be communicated via text message. Please note that some last-minute cancellations can be prevented if you provide us with access to your home using a garage door code, key, lockbox, or other methods.
Can I provide feedback on the cleaning service?
Absolutely! We highly value customer feedback as it helps us monitor the performance of our cleaning technicians and improve our services. Your feedback allows us to deliver the highest quality cleaning experience in the industry.
What is your satisfaction guarantee?
We stand behind the quality of our service, and if you are not happy with any area we have cleaned, simply contact our office within 24 hours, and we will come back and re-clean it free of charge. We require the cleaning technicians to be allowed back into your home within 1 business day, and we usually aim to return on the same day. Please note that we do not offer cash refunds or discounts, but we are committed to ensuring your satisfaction by re-cleaning any areas of concern.
